Udupi: Oscar Fernandes says Congress will win in Bellary

Udupi, 24 November 2011: In the Bellary bi-election Congress will definitely win, said Congress leader Oscar Fernandes. Speaking to the reporters in the District Congress office on Wednesday, he said that, last time in Bellary the Congress candidate had received 38,000 votes. This time he will win with much more votes than that. Because the people there have lost hope with the MLA Shriramulu. People of Bellary are fed up with State BJP and hence the voters are on the side of Congress, he said.

 

 
The rule on the communal violence which is intended to implement by the central government is being wrongly publicized. The intention of this rule is to punish those who are causing communal violence. Is this wrong? he questioned, those who are opposing, if they want any changes in the rule let them suggest it, but it is wrong to create wrong impression on this in the public and instigating, he said.

 
Responding to the comments of Eshwarappa that the central government will fall before the Udupi – Chickmagalur Lokasabha bi-election, so there will not be any need for Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda to resign his MP seat, Oscar said that let him look at the big rat in his plate and then let him search for the fly in our plate.
