Udupi: BJP Udupi camp offer prayers for DVS to become CM

Udupi, 01 August 2011: As Dr. V. S. Acharya has lagged behind in the race for the new Chief Minister, the desperate BJP workers in Udupi are trying everything they can for at least D. V. Sadananda Gowda MP of Udupi - Chickmagalur to be the new Chief Minister of state. For this they are offering prayers. On Monday the BJP workers of Udupi offered special prayers in the ancient Anantheshwara Temple, Krishna Mutt and at the historical famous Shambhushaileshwara Temple in Udyavara.
In Udupi, at Anantheshwaraa Temple and at Krishna Mutt BJP workers offered prayers led by Udupi Jilla Yuva Morcha President Vilas Nayak. Later Vilas Nayak said that, to have a firm government in the state and to win and return back in the next election, it is important to have D. V. Sadananda Gowda (DVS) as the new Chief Minister, who has been successful as the BJP state President.
In Udyavara DVS fan club offered prayers in Shambushaileshwara Temple led by BJP former Taluk Panchayath President Kiran Kumar. First Monday of Shravana month is special, the intentions of the prayers offered on this day will be fulfilled, so we all have offered prayers for D. V. Sadananda Gowda to become the new Chief Minister, said Kiran Kumar. DVS supporters; Radhakrishna Shriyan, Raghu Suvarna, Dinesh Jathanna, Austin, Prajwal, Rathan Shetty and others took part in the prayers.
