Abayachandra Jain said, ‘I lost thousands of acres of farmland after the Land Tribunal Act was implemented. The rhetoric of hijab, halal is making national news without respite. The Congress, a 130 years old organization staged freedom struggle and earned Independence from imperial rulers, always upheld the secularism that was laid down by the first PM Nehru. Every Congress activist should not think about his/her faith instead think as Indians who are historically tolerant in diverse societies since time memorial,’ said Nalapad.

He congratulated Abayachandra Jain on the suggestion of acknowledging the contributions of grass root level activists and encouraging them to become future leaders.
