Udupi: Hindu High School, Shirva wins taluk throw ball tournament

Udupi, 30 Aug 2017: Hindu PU College, Shirva, near here, hosted taluk-level high school girls’ throw ball tournament at their grounds, on Monday, August 28.
ZP member Wilson Rodrigues inaugurated the tournament here on Monday morning.
TP member Geeta Wagle, taluk physical education superintendent Shekaralinge Gowda, Hindu PU College principal Bhaskar A, high school head teacher Shakila, PU College physical education director Devendra Shetty, high school physical education teacher Surendranat Shetty were present at the dais.
Vidyavardaka Sangh promoted education institutions correspondent V Subbayya Hegde presided the programme.
Shakila welcomed the gathering. The English teacher Supreeta compered the programme.
Shirva gram panchayat president Varija Poojarti, retired physical education teacher Sitaram Shetty Padukalattoor presented championship trophy to Hindu High School girls’ team and runner up trophy to St Cecily High School, here.
Hindu High School girls’ team thereby qualified to partake in district level tournament.
