Mangaluru: Info/PR dept to screen documentary on Dr Ambedkar in city on Feb 9

Mangaluru, 06 Feb 2017: Bharat Bhagya Vidata, documentary on the life of Dr B R Ambedkar, pioneer of Indian Constitution that was brought out by Karnataka information and public relations department as part of his 125th birth anniversary will be screened at Nehru maidan, here on February 9.
The documentary exemplifies the strong conviction of Dr Ambedkar to overcome social stigma that plagued the society during his lifetime. It will indeed inspire the people to excel in studies by mere hard work and thirst for knowledge as experienced by Dr Ambedkar.
The documentary is directed by renowned movie director B M Giriraj with the concept of N R Vishukumar, director of information and public relations department. The music is provided by Poornachandra Tejaswi, stage setting by Sasidar Adapa, costume by Pramod Shiggavn and music composed by Dr K Y Narayanaswamy.
The state forests and DK district-in-charge minister B Ramanath Tai will inaugurate the programme at Nehru maidan, here on February 9 afternoon.
