Mumbai: St Paul’s Catholic Association celebrates 74th Annual Day & Founder’s Day

Mumbai, 12 Dec 2016: St Paul’s Catholic Association celebrated their 74th Annual Day and Founders’ Day in their auditorium at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Road, Fort, here on Sunday, December 11.
Fr Joachim D’Souza celebrated the Thanksgiving Mass at Holy Name Cathedral, Woodhouse Road, Colaba, here on Sunday morning.
A simple function was held at the Association auditorium. Laveena, Rajani and Violet inaugurated the programme. Former president Stany Fernandes released the souvenir. President Antony D’Souza, senior residing member Thomas Noronha was present.
Stany Fernandes said, ‘Christian serve the society since their birth. Our ancestors also served the society. We too should come out of selfish things and help building a secure society for our future generation.’
Honorary secretary Richard D’Souza welcomed the gathering. He explained the importance of association and how the Association helped the members in the past 74 years.
Christmas celebration was also celebrated. Ivan Fernandes dressed as a Santa clause and entertained the gathering. Antony D’Souza - president of the Association, Prasad Nazareth-vice president, Michael Lobo-honorary treasurer, Joint Secretary-Antony Nazareth-joint secretary and Sunil Tauro-joint treasurer were present at the dais.
Rayan Castelino compered the programme.
Congratulations to St. Paul s Catholic Association on its 74th Celebrations. Thanks to Richard D Souza Hon. Secretary, for his dedicated service to this Association for the last 28 years and because of this thousands of members benefited from this Association and settle down in life.
