Udupi: All religious Deepavali celebrations in city on Nov 2

Udupi, 31 Oct 2016: The Catholic Sabha unit of Our Lady of Sorrows parish, here will be celebrating Deepavali with people of different religions at the parish premises, on Wednesday, November 2 at 5.30pm.

 

Udupi Episcopal deanery vicar Fr Fred Mascarenhas will preside the programme.

 

Poornaprajna Evening College retired principal Madhavi Bhandary, Lombard Memorial Mission Hospital, here and Mangaluru-based Global Multi Specialty Hospital director Dr Susheel Jattanna, MET English Medium School – Udyavar administrator Khalil Mohammed will be the chief guests of the occasion. 

 

The cultural programme, display of high rise lamp, lighting the lamp and distribution of sweets will be held, stated the communiqué issued by the organizers.
