Four of family attempt suicide: Children die, parents critical

Byndoor, 17 Oct 2016: In a tragic incident, a family attempted suicide by consuming poison at their house in Ganganadu, Byndoor. The incident came to light on Monday.

 

While the children succumbed, the parents are being treated at a hospital; they are said to be critical.

 

 

The parents and children were found lying on a bed. On a further check, the children were found dead, but parents were alive; they were rushed to a hospital.

 

The deceased were identified as Ashwin Kumar and Aishwarya Lakshmi, students of class 10 and 8 respectively.

 

A case has been registered and investigations are on.
