Udupi: Ramanath Patkar, HM of Kutyaru School retires after 39 yrs service

Udupi, 03 Oct 2016: Ramanath Patkar Bantakal, who served as a teacher for 30 years with the education institutions run by Vidyavardaka Sangha®, Shirva, near here and served as headmaster for 9 years with Vidyadayni Higher Primary School, Kutyaru, near here was bid adieu upon his retirement on September 30.
Vidyavardaka Sangha correspondent V Subbayya Hegde presided the programme and commended the long service of Patkar.
The school betterment Committee and alumnus Vedamurti Kenja Sridar Tantri felicitated Patkar and lauded the disciplined teaching of Patkar.
Vidyavardaka Sangha administrator Professor Y Bhaskar Shetty was the chief guest acknowledged the contributions of Patkar in inculcating cultural values along with studies.
Patkar thanked his superiors, locals and students for their support during his service period.
The teachers, students and their parents, locals, alumni were present.
The new headmaster Narayan Naik K welcomed the gathering and delivered the preliminary address. The teacher Sharmila compered the programme.
