Mangaluru, 28 Sep 2016: Since BJP-led union government come into power, there has been constant attacks on minority communities, alleged Popular Front of India (PFI) district Committee member Abubakkar.
Abubakkar was speaking during the corner meet organized by PFI as part of its nationwide campaign, ‘Stop Politics of Hate’ at Kuttar junction, here recently.
Saffron wing supported by union government has been spilling the beans of hatred among the people in society in the name of beef, Vande Mataram and Surya Namaskar. India ranks first in beef exports after BJP formed union government. If they had genuine love for cows, they should have discontinued the beef exports soon after they assumed the charge. Instead it’s gaining political leverage in the assaults on innocent victims and murders. Those who raise their voice against these atrocities, they are labeled as traitors, said Abubakkar. He called on the enlightened people to support PFI in order to maintain unity and protect the rights bestowed by national constitutions and to make India free from hate politics.
The campaign in-charge Abbas Kinya, Siddiq Kumpala, Shahid Kinya, Latif Vidyanagara, Hasainar Malar, Siddiq Ullal, Mustafa Malar, Ashraf Machar, Jamal Jokatte, Nasir Vidyanagar, Noufal Panir and others were present.
The corner meets and street plays were held at Madaka, Pavoor, Fajir, Inoli, Malar, Fajir, Kalkatta, Toudugoli Cross, Mudipu, Deralakatte, K C Road, Beeri, Tokkottu Junction, Ullal and other areas.
