Udupi: SDM College, Ujire wins Championship of Fr F D’Cruz Science Competitions

Udupi, 16 Sep 2016: The science association of Milagres College, Kallianpur, here in collaboration with Physics Teachers Association of Mangalore University, Chemistry Teachers Association of the University organized the late Fr F D’Cruz memorial competitions at Milagres College Silver Jubilee Hall, on Wednesday, September 14.

 

In his inaugural address the chief guest Dr Deepak D’ Silva, an alumnus and co-ordinator of PG Centre of St Philomena College, Puttur said that one should not worry about the results instead participation is important as it would boost self confidence to improve ones performance. The laurels will follow.

 

 

Dr Gerald Pinto, principal of Milagres College presided the programme. Fr Dr Prakash Anil Castelino, campus director of Milagres College was the guest of honor.

 

Earlier, Professor Archana Dabade, convener of the competition welcomed the gathering.

 

Science Association president Brandon, vice president Amrutha, secretary Nikhil, joint secretary Andrea and treasurer Jayaprakash were present on the dais. The lecturer Arenza Sequeira proposed vote of thanks.
