Udupi, 13 Sep 2016: Perhaps it’s the first time in the region that a Konkani movie has been making so much news that everyone speaks about Ek Aslyar Ek Na. EAEN a Konkani movie produced by Mr. Frank Fernandes, Thottam and Directed by Pradeep Barboza Paladka, who has played a lead role himself have been receiving loads of accolades from people in and around coastal region. The show has been running houseful for a successive second week in Mangalore, Moodubidri and Karkala. EAEN will be released in Udupi Ashirvad and Manipal Inox, B.C road Nakshatra on 16th September and expected a full house shows as Udupi all community people are waiting eagerly to see this much awaited and much talked about.

 

 

Yes, EK Aslyar Ek Na, a super hit Konkani movie has surprised everyone with a great success. People from different part of coastal region are flocking to the theatres in Mangalore. One of the Managers of the theatre in Mangalore, where the Ek Aslyar Ek na is being screened said ‘ We have never seen such a crowd for any Konkani movie in recent time. Some said this is the first Konkani movie where the online booking on   www.bookmyshow.com’ is sold out within few hours much to their surprise.

 

There is a celebration mood in the dug out of team Ek Aslyar Ek Na as the movie is fast becoming the talk of the town. Thanks to Mr. Frank Fernandes for giving such a great entertaining blockbuster movie to the Konkani world. He has spent a huge amount of money in giving such a great entertainment to the people of Konkani world with a brilliantly made Konkani movie which has everything including Comedy, Action and Romance.

 

Mr. Frank Fernandes, Thottam, Producer himself says “I want this movie to reach every person who speaks and understands Konkani. Even for those who cannot understand Konkani we have added subtitles in English so that, it can be watched by all. He said “I have given a chance to many artist to show their talents on screen and I am satisfied with the result this movie has brought so far. God willing I will keep producing Konkani movies every year to take my mother tongue to a different level”.

 

Pradeep Barboza, the writer, director and the hero himself says “People have accepted us as an actors and we are grateful to them for the love and encouragement they have shown us so far, and we are looking forward for more and more people will come to theaters to watch this movie".

 

People from different part of South Canara are thronging to the theaters to watch EAEN. One could see special organized buses parked outside the theaters in Mangalore and Moodubidri carrying people from far distances. No doubt that EAEN will create a new record in the world of Konkani movies soon.

 

 

‘Team EAEN has been receiving calls from different parts of India including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bhopal, Indore, Baroda, Mysore and Bangalore where there are large number of Konkani speaking people interested to screen this movie’ said coordinator of the movie Alphons Moodubelle. He further said we never thought results would be so great and overwhelming when we decided to bring this movie to Mangalore initially.The response to the movie has been far better than expected. It’s the right time of the year where we have managed to bring such  a large number of viewers to the theatres by providing them a much awaited entertainment. 

 

This movie will reach different part of India with the able leadership of our dynamic youth leader Sheldon Crasta, who is keen and actively involved with team EAEN to promote movie all over India. A meeting was held in Udupi to plan the release of the movie in the district. Thanks to Loyal D’souza, Steven Colaco and the team, who have come forward in support of the movie by promoting it in Udupi diocese.

 

EAEN will be released in Inox Manipal, Ashirvad, Udupi and Nakshatra in B.C Road from 16th September.
