Mumbai entrepreneur Prakash Shetty celebrates 25th wedding anniversary by planting saplings

Mangaluru, 09 Sep 2016: Mumbai entrepreneur and social activist Nalyaguttu Prakash T Shetty and couple celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary by planting 150 saplings in their hometown from Panja to Kemral Road, about 2 kilometers Pakshikere, near Kinnigoli, here on Thursday September 8. It was planted during Vanamahotsav programme that was held at Panja Higher Primary School, near here.
Prakash Shetty grew up in a farming family and was concerned of conserving nature that is facing the widespread destruction, inspired the couple to plant the saplings to set an example for others.
Shibaroor Padumane Sadanand Shetty, Corporation Bank manager Praveen Ullal, Charan Shetty, entrepreneur Dhananjay Shettigar, Sitaram, Sudhakar Poonja, Panja Higher Primary School head teacher Irene D’Souza, High School head teacher Sandhya Hegde, Kemral gram panchayat member Suresh Panja, Asha, Sumati and others were present.
