Puttur: St Philomena College organizes Health Awareness Programme

Puttur, 08 Sep 2016: The department of social work of St Philomena College here, in association with Narimogaru gram panchayat organized Health Awareness Programme here on September 6.
Dr Deepak Rai, resident medical officer, Primary Health Centre, Manjunatha Nagara, here inaugurated the programme and said, ‘Cleanliness should be taken as the first and foremost responsibility by everyone. We can be healthy only if we can take everything within us in a very clean and hygienic way.’
Narimogaru PDO Gerald Mascarenhas was the chief guest.
Narimogaru Higher Primary School headmaster Vijaya Naika and St Philomena College assistant professor of Social Work Johnson David Sequeira were the guests of honor.
Narimogaru gram panchayat president Chandrakala presided the programme.
The social work students Navya welcomed the gathering. Ranjitha proposed the vote of thanks. Vijayalaxmi compered the programme.
The panchayat members and the students of Narimogaru Higher Primary School benefited from the programme.
