Udupi: Rotary Shankerpura organizes fruitful Talent Hunt at Shankerpura

Udupi/Shankerpura, 13 Aug 2016: The Prathibhanweshanna (Talent Hunt) for Interact Club which comes under Rotary Club Shankerpura was organized by Rotary Shankerpura on Friday the 12th August 2016 at its premises.

 

This event is organized every year on the occasion of Independence day celebrations. The Talent Hunt Event was sponsored by Rtn. Francis D’Sa and his spouse Agnes D’Sa as part of their Wedding Anniversary which falls during the same period.

 

 

On this special day various competitions were held such as Elocution, singing Patriotic Songs, Folk dance and quiz competition, etc. The programme was inaugurated by Sponsor Mrs. Agnes D’Sa.

 

Chief Guest of the programme was was Rtn. Arun Kumar Shetty, Vice Chairman Interact. Rtn. Arun Kumar praised Rotary Shankerpura for arranging such an important event by inviting young talents to exhibit their hidden talents. Sponsor Mrs. Agnes D’Sa also praised young students for participating in large numbers in such a memorable event and requested the students to participate in large numbers in the coming years as well.

 

For valedictory function Rtn. Phf. Dr. Guru Raj K. (Asst. Governor, Zone-5), Sponsors Rtn. Francis & Mrs. Agnes D’Sa, Rtn. M.G. Nagendra (Club Chairman youth services) were present. The function was presided over by Rotary Shankerpura President Rtn. Anil D’Sa. Inner Wheel president Mrs. Ivy D’Souza was present on the dais.

 

Prizes were distributed to the winners. Over all best performance Trophy was present to Interact Club of S.V.H. English Medium High School, Innanje. Complimentary prizes were given to all the participants. All the participants were also provided by snacks.
