Udupi: Lilly Nazareth retires serving 40-yrs as teacher with Vidyavardaka Sangha-run Schools

Udupi, 02 Aug 2016: Lilly Nazareth, the teacher who served 29 years at Vidyadayini Higher Primary School, Kutyar and 11 years at Hindu Higher Primary School, Shirva here. Both schools are governed by Vidyavardaka Sangha®, Shirva, was felicitated upon her retired from service, during a function held at Hindu Higher Primary School, Shirva, here on Monday August 1.
Vidyavardaka Sangha® administrator Professor Y Bhaskar Shetty lauded the 40-years service of Lilly Nazareth and her honesty and dedication in discharging her duties.
Lilly thanked all for their co-operation and encouragement during her service.
The students Sameeksha, Siddish and Adarsh Hegde spoke on behalf of the students.
The School betterment Committee president Shekar Shetty, treasurer Devi, teachers, school pupil leaders Swaroop Shetty and Bharati G were present.
The School headmaster N Prabhakar welcomed the gathering and delivered the introductory address. Shalini Shetty proposed vote of thanks. Shubhashree compered the programme.
