Vijaya Industries install 30 KV solar rooftop unit at Moodubelle

Udupi, 10 Jul 2016: Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) installed over 35,000 gobar gas units, while it’s a herculean task indeed to avail the subsidy from state government in this regard, said SKDRDP chief executive officer Dr L H Manjunat.
Dr Manjunat was speaking during inaugural of newly-installed 30 KV solar rooftop unit by Vijaya Industries, Katpady, at Moodubelle, near here on Saturday July 9.
He commended Vijaya Industries that is in the forefront in Karnataka for installing gobar gas units, for securing the state government’s approval in generating solar energy to supply to state-owned public utility enterprise – MESCOM.
G V Prabhu, DGM, Canara Bank, Mangaluru circle after inaugurating the solar unit said that solar units are eco-friendly that will become future source of energy.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijaya Solar managing director K Satyendra Pai said that the newly-developed solar rooftop units will be installed in Kaup locality in Udupi, with the objective of offering better services.
Vijaya Industries founder Purushottam Pai, Katpady gram panchayat president Juliet Veera D’Souza, PDO Inayat Asadi, Katpady Shankar Poojary, Vinay Ballal, Dinakar Master, Srikar Anchan, Dr U K Shetty and others were present.
