Mangaluru: Mandd Theater Group to present II Show of Konkani Play, Love Letters on Jul 10

Mangaluru, 07 Jul 2016: ‘Mandd’ Theater Group will be presenting the second show of its experimental Konkani play –‘Love Letters,’ at Kalaangann, Shaktinagar on Sunday July 10.

 

 

The play is based on Javed Siddiqi’s Hindi play – ‘Tumhari Amrita’, which is translated in Kannada as ‘Iti Ninna Amrutha’ by Jayant Kaikini and which has been translated to Konkani, by Vitori Karkal.

 

Christopher D’Souza Neenasam, the trainer of Kalakul Theater Repertory and Zeena Braggs will be enacting the play under the direction of Viddu Uchil. The first show, presented at the 174th Monthly Theater at Kalaangann, here on Sunday January 3, had received a overwhelming response from the audience.
