Residents given opportunity to vote for smart city proposal

 

Mangaluru, 27 Jun 2016: As the proposal to announce the smart cities in the second stage is under preparation, a voting process has begun that intends to involve people’s participation.

 

Accordingly, voting in the city began on June 22 and it was learnt that as many as 263 people case their votes till June 25.

 

Voters can choose the areas required to be developed under 5 choices: Surathkal, Kulai, Hosabettu – 1st choice, Kunjatabail and Kavoor- 2nd choice, Urwa, Kodialbail, Boloor- 3 choice, Hampankatta, Bunder, Car Street- 4 th choice and Kannur, Bajal, Alape, Kankanady – 5th choice.

 

To cast a vote, one can log on to www.mygov.in and select poll/survey. Voters can also type MYGOVPOLL 100354 and the number of their choice. The message should be sent to 7738299899.
