Mangaluru: Int’l Bunts Welfare Trust to organize convention in Puttur during Aug 2016

Mangaluru, 20 Jun 2016: The associations of any community that are launched with specific objectives should be engaged throughout in fulfilling those set aims.  It would indeed contribute for progress of community.  International Bunts Welfare Trust® that has been organizing farewell function since 2 years has created hope for community brethrens, said veteran Bunts leader of Kundapur and former MLA Appanna Hegde.

 

Appanna was speaking at a gathering of leaders of Bunts community from Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Kasargod districts, during a function that was organized by International Bunts Welfare Trust at Kudla Pavilion, here on Sunday June 20.

 

Savanoor Sitaram Rai, correspondent of Vidyarashmi Education Institutions, Savanoor said that the activities of Trust should not be limited to just one venue; instead it has to be held in other parts of Karnataka and rest of India.  He offered his support for organizing next convention at his hometown Savanoor, Puttur.

 

 

International Bunts Welfare Trust® president A Sadanand Shetty in his presidential address briefed about future plans and anticipated the co-operation of community brethrens.  He also announced to hold convention in Vidyarashmi Education Institution, Savanoor, Puttur and Sullia during August 2016.

 

The Trust executive president former minister Amaranat Shetty, CAMPCO director Kolaru Satischandra Bhandary, women wing convener Vijayalaxmi B Shetty also spoke on the occasion.

 

Sadashaya – in house quarterly bulletin chief editor Bhaskar Rai Kukkuvalli briefed about bringing out the special edition.

 

Trust promoters Padu Chittaranjan Rai, Kenya Ravindranat Raim Nemiraj Rai, Vinod S Shetty Karkala, Laxman Rai Kavoor, Jyoti Prasad Hegde, Shamina Alva, Naveen Shetty Kenjar, Bantara Sangha Kottara – Kodical president Kamalaksha Shetty, Bantara Sangha – Jappinamogaru president Sitaram Shetty, honorary president Sasidar Shetty, Bantara Sangha - Jeppu president Sunil Shetty and others were present.

 

The general secretary Vasant Kumar welcomed the gathering.  The organizing secretary Rajgopal Rai delivered the preliminary address.  Pradeep Alva proposed vote of thanks.
