Bantwal: Sajipanadu Gram Panchayat takes bold steps to make child-friendly school

Bantwal, 19 Jun 2016: It was a unique programme. It was a gathering of students who were given info on scholarship and government facilities, conducted workshop on personality development, honoured the brilliant students, distributed notebooks and stationery to students. Yes, it was a bold step towards Child friendly school that was organized at the leadership of Sajipanadu gram panchayat at Government Primary School, Sajipanadu, near here on Saturday June 18.
Sajipanadu gram panchayat organized this programme in collaboration with ILMA India to create revolution in education to make schools child friendly, by honoring top scorers of SSLC and II PUC, besides felicitating primary and high school teachers of their village.
Mohammed Nasir had the ambition of making child friendly school after he assumed the charge as president of Sajipanadu gram panchayat. Since then, he has been organizing unique programmes on Saturdays at the state-run school here, to create general awareness on education among the people in his village.
The talented students presided the programme.
Sajipanadu central Juma masjid Khatib Ashpak Faizi after inaugurating the programme, said that education makes a perfect human being. God pleases with life based on human values.
The top scorers of SSLC and II PUC were felicitated along with their teachers during the programme.
Talent Research Foundation® Mangaluru honorary advisor Rafiq Master offered info on personality development, while DK district minority information Centre co-ordinator Abdul Khader offered info on scholarship and government facilities that are available for the students.
Sajipanadu gram panchayat vice president Sunita Shanti Moras, PDO Veerappa Gowda, Sajipanadu Primary and High School teachers and villagers were present.
