BSKB Association organizes children’s summer camp at Ashraya Oldage Home, Nerul

Mumbai, 13 Jun 2016: The youth wing of Bombay South Kanara Brahmin (BSKB) Association®, organized 2-day children’s summer camp at Ashraya oldage home, Nerul, near here from Friday June 10 to Saturday June 11. Twenty-five children attended the camp.
The Association members Saroja Satyanarayan, P C N Rao, Lohita Rao, Aruna Achar, Shalini Udupa and others trained the children on making varieties of art work using color papers. Anjana Rao trained them on drawing Rangoli, while Sahana Poti trained them on devotional singing. Anantapadmanabha Poti trained them on Vedic maths. Prashant Herle trained them on exercises on daily mornings. Sahana Bharadwaj trained them on Kannada studies in a unique manner by play. Rahita Rao trained them on making quick dishes.
BSKB Association president Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel presided the valedictory function held here on Sunday June 12 evening.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Suresh said that these kinds of children’s activities will foster friendship and hoped more children attend such camps in the future.
He also distributed prizes to all the participants.
The youth wing convener Deepak Shivattaya welcomed the gathering. Vinodini Rao briefed about the 2-day children’s summer camp. Umesh Rao sponsored the prizes.
The camp was successful with the participation of both youth wing and women wing.
