Udupi: Vinaykumar Sorake inaugurates various developmental projects in Moodubelle

Udupi, 03 Jun 2016: Vinaykumar Sorake, Urban Development  Minister in the Karnataka Government as well as Minister in Charge of Udupi District inaugurated various developmental projects undertaken within the jurisdiction of Belle Grama Panchayat on Friday, 3 June 2016 in the presence of the villagers and elected representatives of the Village, Taluk and Zilla Panchayats.

 

The various projects inaugurated  by Vinaykumar Sorake included: Extension road of Belle-Thokoli Bhajana Mandir leading to SC Colony; Road by the side of Jnanaganga PU College, Nellikatte;  water tank at Madikettu; retaining wall by the side of St. Lawrence English Medium High School; Belle-Kattingeri-Gokal Road;  Belle-Edmeru-Kocharappu Raod;   and Belle Devaragudded Anganwadi building. Besides these, Vinayakumar Sorake did ‘guddhali puje’ to two road improvement  projects: at Thirlapalke Saraswati Colony and at Padubelle near Manasa.

 

 

The inauguration functions were attended by Mrs. Ranjani Hegde-President of Belle Grama Panchayat; Harish Shetty-Vice President; Wilson Rodrigues-member of Udupi Zilla Panchayat; Mrs. Sujata Suvarna-member of Udupi Taluk Panchayat; Mrs. Benny Quadros, PDO of Belle Grama Panchayat. Besides these other dignitaries who attended the functions at various places included: Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza-former member of Udupi Zilla Panchayat;  Shivaji Suvarna, A.G. D’Souza, Prima D’Souza and  Mrs. Helen D’Souza- members of Belle Grama Panchayat; Fr. Clement Mascarenhas-Parish Priest of St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle; Sadananda Rao- retired teacher of Belle Church Aided Higher Primary School; and Vincent  Fernandes-President of Belle Local Congress Committee.
