Mangaluru: Bantara Sangha - Suratkal distributes scholarship to talented students

Mangaluru, 03 Jun 2016: The confidence, grit and good character take one to greater heights, said Ajit Kumar Rai Malady, president of Bantara Yane Nadavara Matra Sangha.
Ajit was speaking during distribution of scholarship to community students that were organized by Bantara Sangha – Suratkal, near here on Thursday June 2.
Bantara Sangha – Suratkal president Ullas R Shetty presided the programme.
MRG Group managing director Prakash Shetty, Bantara Sangha – Suratkal former president Devanand Shetty, vice president Sudhakar Punja, secretary Sitaram Rai, joint secretary Jayaram Shetty, treasurer Praveen Shetty, women wing president Chandrakala Shetty, anti-corruption squad officer Dinakar Shetty Padre, Mali were present at the dais.
Poornima Yatish Rai, Sanjana S Shetty and Megha V Shetty were honored for their achievement in different spheres.
The newly-elected TP members Vajrakshi P Shetty, Pratibha Shetty, Sasikala Shetty, Supreeta Shetty and Jyoti Shetty were also honored during the programme.
The financial assistance was awarded to widows, physically handicapped and differently-abled children of the community.
The top scorers of SSLC and II PUC were also honored.
The scholarship worth Rs 1.10 lac was distributed to the talented students.
Variety cultural shows, Yakshagana play was staged as part of entertainment programme.
