Bantwal: Minister Rai reviews ongoing development works of Public Park at B C Road

Bantwal, 26 May 2016: The district-in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai reviewed the ongoing development works at the public park at B C Road roundabout, here on Wednesday May 25.
Addressing the media persons, minister Rai said garden will be developed at nearby B C Road roundabout that was once a garbage mound. It will have toilets, walking zone, solar power supply, rain water harvesting facility, FM radio and Wi Fi facility and all other basic amenities. The walking path and parking facilities will help the citizens to enhance their health, said minister Rai.
There lies 1 acre plot nearby Panje Mangesh Rao’s ancestral home, near here that will be developed to build Panje Bhavan. The works on building Ambedkar Bhavan will begin shortly, added minister Rai. CM Siddaramaiah will inaugurate all these works, said minister Rai.
The town councillor Ramakrishna Alva, BUDA president Pius Rodrigues, ZP member Chandraprakash Shetty, TP vice president Abbas Ali, deputy councillor Mohammed, Chanchalakshi, Gangadhar, Jagdish Kundar, B Mohan, Chanchalakshi, Lokesh Suvarna, Praveen Kini, Mohammed Nandavar, engineer Umesh Bhat, Mayilappa Salian and others were present.
