Abu Dhabi: District Toastmasters Annual Conference - DTAC 2016 from May 26 to 28

Abu Dhabi, 26 May 2016: District Toastmasters Annual Conference (DTAC) is a very prestigious and high profile event-taking place in Abu Dhabi. It is a 3-day event and expected to be attended by nearly 1,000 delegates Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar and UAE. Winners from this event will be participating in the International Conference for world championship in USA.

 

DTAC 2016 is scheduled to take place at Zayed University Convention Center, Khalifa City C, Abu Dhabi from May 26 to May 28 from 9.00am onwards with Main Event on Friday May 27 from 8.30am with Gala Dinner at the same venue on Friday May 27 May from 8.00pm.

 

 

The Toastmasters (TM) International Program launched in the year 1924 in the United States specializes in development of Leadership & Communication skills. As of today, TM International Program is considered as the leading non-profit program in the world, available in 135 countries with more than 3,32,000 members in 15,400 clubs across the world.

 

The Toastmasters Program in the Middle East was first introduced in Bahrain in 1964 and in the UAE in 1995. All Toastmasters Clubs in UAE, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan & Lebanon represent District 20, with over 354 Clubs and 10,000 members in these 7 countries. DTAC is an annual event for all Toastmasters part of District 20, it was successfully conducted in Abu Dhabi for the very first time in 2009. Yet, again Abu Dhabi has been honored with the opportunity to host DTAC-2016.
