Social welfare organizations deserves kudos for reaching state health facilities to rural masses

Karkala, 21 May 2016: The ministry of health has launched several free health facilities for the rural masses, while Lions Club and Rotary Club got to be appreciated for their humanitarian concern in reaching these free facilities to the common folks in rural villages, said Sacchidanand M L, district co-ordinator of Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust® Udupi.
Sacchidanand was speaking after inaugurating free health checkup camp that was organized by health and family welfare department in association with Suvarna Arogya Trust – Bengaluru, Justice K S Hegde Hospital, Mangaluru in collaboration with Lions Club and Inna gram panchayat at Government Higher Primary School, Inna, near here on Friday May 20.
Lions Club – Belman president Vishwanat Patkar inaugurated the programme.
Inna gram panchayat vice president Kusha Moolya, Dr Ashwin Pai, Inna panchayat development officer Maheshwar, Inna PHC resident medical officer Dr Dayanand, K S Hegde Hospital camp co-ordinator Francis were present at the dais.
Deepak Kamat compered the programme. Lions Club – Belman secretary Raghunat Nayak proposed vote of thanks.
