The state-run KSRTC and private buses stalled their services fearing pelting stones by the agitators. A few auto rickshaws were plying people. The busy city center of B C Road, Kalladka, Melkar and Vittal town was deserted.
Tense situation prevailed for sometime, when activists of Hindu outfits gathered at B C Road, here, but later returned to normalcy when circle inspector Belliyappa resolved their issue.
