Udupi: Sports fosters bond among community brethrens - Sadashiv Prabhu

Udupi, 10 May 2016: Rajapura Saraswat Brahman (RSB) Sangh organized Udupi district RSB Trophy – 2016 at MJC grounds, Manipal, here on Sunday May 8.

 

Uttar Kannada district special Deputy Commissioner B Sadashiv Prabhu was the chief guest of prize distribution function, said that tournaments and sports meets indeed help the community brethrens to foster bonds and it also help in promoting good health. It also prepares sportsmen to face challenges of life.

 

 

RSB Sangh president and Udupi ZP former president Upendra Nayak, town councilor Narasimha Nayak, RSB Mahila Vedike president Sumitra H Nayak, tournament co-ordinator Vittaldas Prabhu, physical education director Dr Upendra Nayak, Mangaluru municipal joint commissioner Gokuldas Nayak were present at the dais. 

 

The physical education director Narayan Prabhu, Haridas Prabhu, Ramachandra Patkar, Arvind Nayak, Varadaraj Nayak, Sudhir Nayak and Sundar Nayak assisted in the tournament. 

 

Sanghvi rendered the prayers. RSB Sangh secretary S Panduranga Kamat welcomed the gathering and proposed vote of thanks. Devdas Patkar compered the programme.
