Mangaluru: Aarati Shetty bags medals in National Masters Athletic Championship

Mangaluru, 14 March 2016: Aarati Shetty from Mangaluru who represented Karnataka in 37th National Masters Athletic Championship held at Mysore, organized by Masters Athletics Federation of India, bagged silver in long jump, 200 meters race and 4 x 100 meters relay; bronze in 100 meters race.

 

 

She was selected to represent India in Asian Masters Athletics that will be held in Singapore and World Masters Athletics in Perth, Australia, stated Karnataka Masters Athletics secretary Laxman Rai.

 

She is being trained by Laxman Rai himself at Mangala Stadium, Mangaluru city.
