Mangaluru: Swami Yogi Nirmalanat crowned as head of Jogi mutt, Kadri

Mangaluru, 08 March 2016: Swami Yogi Nirmalanat was crowned as head of Jogi mutt, Kadri, here that is one of the significant center of Nath sect in southern India, in the presence of leaders of All India Varshia Avadoot Bek Baraha Yogi Mahasabha, Jogi community and devotees, on Monday March 7. Swami Shrddanat was crowned as head of Jogi mutt in Vittal, Bantwal taluk. The historical event is taking place once in 12 years.
Swami Mahanta Surajnat, Mahanta Krishnanat, Mahanta Somanat, Mahanta Shivanat, Mahanta Ravindranat, Mahanta Dr Krishnanat Maharashtra were present.
The crowning Committee president H K Purushottam, Karnataka Jogi Samaj Sudaraka Sangha president Kiran Kumar Jogi, Jogi community leaders Y D Madhurkar, Dr Keshavnat, M Ramachandra, Satish Malemar, Gangadhar and Yogish, former minister Krishna J Palemar, former legislative assembly deputy speaker N Yogish Bhat, corporators Roopa D Bangera, D K Ashok Kumar and Rajesh K, DK district Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, former mayor Divakar and others were also present.
