10 Couples wedded in mass weddings held at Farangipet

Bantwal, 07 March 2016: The people have wrong notion that the simple and mass weddings are only meant for poor in the community, owing to which simple and mass weddings has lost sanctity and importance, regretted Khatib Sayyed Mohammed Jifri Muttu Koya Tangal of Central Juma Masjid, Adyar – Kannur.
Khatib Sayyed was addressing the gathering of 10 couples and their relatives during the mass wedding programme that was organized by Kidmatul Islam Association and Muhiuddin Juma masjid, Farangipet, here on Sunday March 6.
The mass wedding will be meaningful and of significance, when the youth regardless of poor and rich get wedded in mass wedding programmes, added Khatib Sayyed.
DK district Kazi Al Haj Twaka Ahmed Musliar said that it’s the duty of everyone to help the couple to get wedded. He lauded the endeavor of Kidmatul Islam Association and Muhiuddin Juma masjid in organizing mass weddings.
Farangipet Juma masjid president Haji F Mohammed presided the programme.
SAMASTA member K P Abdul Jabbar Musliar, Farangipet Juma masjid Khatib Usman Darimi, Mahin Darimi Patoor, Karnataka state health and family welfare minister U T Khader, Hazaz Group – Goltamajal chairman Hanif Haji, SDPI district president Hanif Khan Kodaje also spoke on the occasion.
Farangipet Juma masjid secretary Haji A Yusuf Alankar, Suha Complex – Farangipet owner Shabbir, Arafa Group – Thumbay chairman Abdul Latif, Salim Tailor Farangipet, Kunjatkal Nurul Huda Madrasa president Abin Ali, Rajdhani Jewellery – Farangipet proprietor Shukoor, Atlas Gold – Farangipet proprietor Shaffer Khan and others were present at the dais.
Niyaz read the scriptural reading. ZP former member F Ummer Farooq welcomed the gathering. Sameer Altaf delivered the introductory address. F Mohammed Bawa proposed vote of thanks. Abdul Razak Master Anantady and Abdul Hameed Goltamajal compered the programme.
