Puttur: Panel Discussion on Central Budget 2016 at St Philomena College

Puttur, 05 March 2016: St Philomena College, Planning Forum of PG department here organized a panel discussion on Union Budget-2016 at seminar hall of PG Centre, here on March 4.
Professor Dr Yashodha Ramachandra of the department moderated the panel discussion.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Yashodha said, ‘The Union Budget-2016 is a pro-agriculture, pro-rural sector budget. The budget has made provision for the development of agriculture and rural sector, and thereby, to achieve accelerated economic development of the nation.’
The progressive farmer A P Subramaniam, stock broker Umesh Nayak and chartered accountant Deepak K participated as panel members.
The students of the department Bharath and Lavita J Lobo presented the highlights of the budget.
Shwetha, Shreevalli and Shilpashree presented the prayer song. The co-ordinator of department Professor Dinakara Rao welcomed the gathering. The convener of the Planning Forum Professor Pradeep K S has co-ordinated the programme. The president of the Planning Forum Sahana Y proposed the vote of thanks. Sowmya compered the programme.
