Udupi: Belle Milk Producers Co-op Society organizes Info camp on Dairy farming

Udupi, 07 March 2016: Belle Milk Producers Co-operative Society, Moodubelle, near here, in collaboration with National Agriculture and Rural Development Bank, Dakshina Kannada Mulk Producers Union (DKMUL) organized information camp on dairy farming for youth and women here recently.

 

Belle Milk Producers Co-operative Society president Dr H B Shetty has inaugurating the camp on the occasion.

 

 

DKMUL expansion officer Satish Yadiyal offered info on dairy farming and requisites needed to avail the facilities from the Co-operative Society. He also congratulated the milk producers for delivering over 1,000 liters of milk to the Society.

 

DKMUL assistant manger Shivappa appealed the rural youth to earn substantial income by dairy farming, instead of lazing life at home if they don’t find gainful employment. He further said, milk has steady rate and DKMUL willing to take any quantity of milk from the producers.

 

The assistant manager Shruti, DKMUL veterinary Dr Rajesh Shetty also provided info on dairy farming.

 

The executive Committee members of Belle Milk Producers Co-operative Society, milk venders were present.

 

The Society secretary Ravindra A Haldonkar proposed vote of thanks.
