Mangaluru: Swami Muktananda of Karinje urges people to lead worthy lives with good deeds

Mangaluru, 05 March 2016: ‘We got to be embodied with patriotism. We need to preserve our culture and become worthy through our good deeds, said Swami Muktananda of Laxmisatyanarayana temple, Karinje.
Swami Muktananda was speaking during the third-day religious discourse that was held Jogi mutt premises as part of crowning ceremony of head of Jogi mutt, Kadri, here on Friday March 4.
The contemporary Hinduism of India is leading the world in spirituality. Hinduism lies in true belief and not blind beliefs. Meanwhile, the so called intellectuals who bagged Jnanapeeta Awards are constantly criticizing the Hinduism that cannot be tolerated, said Swami Muktananda.
DK district working journalists Association president Jagannat Shetty Bala was the chief guest said that religious virtues bring mental bliss and enable an individual to lead disciplined life.
MLC K Monappa Bhandary presided the programme.

Karnataka Jogi Samaj Sudarak Sangh president Kiran Kumar Jogi, advisor Sadanand Jogi, Manjeshwar Jogi community leader Gopal Manjeshwar was also present.
Varadaraj, Yogish Jogi, K Padmanabha, Sanjeev K and Narayan Bhat Kowdoor were felicitated on the same occasion.
