Mangaluru: Journos urge DC to provide security whilst on duty

Mangaluru, 02 March 2016: DK district working journalists Association urged Deputy Commissioner to take appropriation action to arrest the accused in assaulting the journalist.

 

 

Deputy Commissioner assured the journalists that he would instruct the police department to provide adequate security to the journalists while on duty.

 

The Association president Jagannat Shetty Bala urged Deputy Commissioner to create an environment to work without fear.

 

The Association vice president Sukhesh Shetty, secretary Srinivas Indaje, P B Harish Rai, Mohammed Arif, Pushparaj B N, Jitendra Kundeshwar, Taranat, Prakash Pandeshwar, Ibrahim Adkastala and others were present.
