Puttur: St Philomena College launches Commerce Fest Ambiora - 2016

Puttur, 25 Feb 2016: St Philomena College, department of commerce, organized an inter-collegiate commerce Fest ‘Ambiora - 2016’ at College auditorium, on February Wednesday February 24.
Sahaj Rai, president of Jaya Karnataka youth wing, DK district inaugurated the Fest and said, ‘Success in life depends on risk bearing ability of an individual.’
Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, campus director was the chief guest. In his address, he said, ‘Mere bookish knowledge is of no use in our life. To become educated persons we should acquire necessary skills and courage.’
Professor Leo Noronha, principal of the College said, ‘Humility and discipline leads to great success in life.’
Fr Alfred J Pinto, correspondent of the College in his presidential address said, ‘Today, the whole world is based on the progress of trade and commerce.’
The student co-ordinator Sandeep Rai was present.
Professor Maxim Carl, head of department of commerce and convener of the Fest welcomed the gathering. Eden J D’Mello proposed the vote of thanks. Lavita D’Souza compered the programme.
