Udupi: Elections being held for Zilla and Taluk Panchayat with large number of Voters turnout

Shankerpura/M.Belle, 20 Feb 2016: A large number of voters were queue up for Zilla Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat elections being held at Shankerpura/Kunjar, Shirva and Moodubelle polling centers.
Both Congress and BJP workers are trying their best get voters to the centers by all means possible, going home to home and getting them in cars, Rikshaws and four-wheelers and some even two wheelers.
It’s a direct contest between BJP and Congress at these centers held at St. John’s Academy Shankerpura, Shree Durgaparameshwari Primary School and St. Lawrnece Moodubelle.
The aged people above 70 years too took interest to franchise their vote for their parties.
