Mumbai: 3,600 women partake in second season of Brahmakumaris Sakhi Minithon

Mumbai, 15 Feb 2016: Around 3,600 women in age group of 11 years to 60 years participated in Second Season of Brahmakumaris Sakhi Minithon here on Sunday February 14, with lots of zeal and enthusiasm. The energy of crowd gathered at Ghatkopar Suburb’s Acharya Atre Grounds was palpable.
Wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Amruta Devendra Fadnavis was the chief guest of event.
Dr Uday Nirgudkar (CEO Zee News and editor of DNA), Manish Awasthi (national editor of India News Channel), Dr Vipulroy Rathod (eminent gastroenterologist), Dr Suparna Nirgudkar (eminent physician and intensivist), Rajyogi Brahmakumar Karuna (founder of Peace of Mind Channel), Usha Kulkarni (chairman of Pratibha Group) were present on the dais.
Rajyogini Brahmakumari Nalini (Ghatkopar sub-zone head) led the event along with Rajyogi Nikunj from Brahmakumaris Media and Public Relations Services.
Winners were declared in 2 categories: winner, first runner up, second runner up and 3 consolation prizes. All the winners were given cash prize along with winning trophy, crown and certificates.
State Bank of India along with the likes of Himalaya Healthcare and many other companies supported the Event.
