Mangaluru: Pavitra, Tulu movie to be premiered in coastal district on Feb 5

Mangaluru, 04 Feb 2016: Pavitra, Tulu movie produced under banner of Indira Movies will be premiered simultaneously in theaters of Suchitra, Big Cinemas, PVR and Cinepolis at Mangaluru, Kalpana in Udupi, I-Nax in Manipal, Nakshatra in B C Road – Bantwal and Aruna in Puttur on Friday February 5.

 

The movie has been produced by Anantaram Rao Yermal, a native of Udupi settled in Chennai. Its directed by sandalwood popular cameraman J G Krishna, choreography by Ashokraj and music by Risel Sahi. It has 2 stunts directed by Siddaraj.

 

 

The movie has been shot for 23 days in and around Mangaluru town, Yermal, Kaup, Kuloor, Haleyangady, Jeppu and other naturesque places. It has 5 songs.

 

The growth of bidi industry in the coastal district that was originally envisioned to rural masses especially women to earn their living. Meanwhile, the change in its perspective owing to globalization has been depicted in the movie. Pavitra is living in a small family taking care of her mother. The story takes a turn, when a young man Rohit arrives in their village along with his friend Raja. She falls in love with one of the youth and both determined to get married. A few incidents in her life further take her to unknown terrain. One got to view the movie to know whether she gets married to her lover or not. 

 

New heroine

Chirashree Anchan is the heroine who got a break in Tulu filmdom through movie Pavitra. She had acted in sandalwood movies. Shravant is the hero of the movie acted in 3 sandalwood movies and a TV serial.    

 

Tulu movies veterans

The well known Tulu movie veteran artistes Kuseldarase Navin D Padil, Arvind Bolar and Bhojaraj Vamanjoor are cast in the movie.  Umesh Mijar, Ranjan Boloor, Raghu Pandeshwar, Manoj Puttur, Shobha Rai, Vidhya, Supreeta, Deepika, Ranjita Shet, Ritesh Mangaluru, Vasant, Timmappa Kulal are the casts in the movie.
