Mumbai: "Nirmillem Chukana" Konkani Drama staged in Borivli

Mumbai, 30 Jan 2016: "Nirmillem Chukana" a Konkani Drama of the known dramatist Joseph D’Souza was staged on 26 Jan at Mary Immaculate Ground Borivli by Konkani Sanskrutik Sangh, Mumbai. The drama was directed by William Machado, Borivli.

 

The programme started with a stage function at 6.30pm.  The local corporator Abhishek Gosalkar and Fr. Lancy D’Silva the parish priest of St. Louis Church Dahisar were the guest for the programme. The dramatist Francis Fernandes Cascia and William Machado were honoured during this occasion.

 

 

The drama started at 7pm sharp. George Sequeira Bhayander, Ronald DCosta Vasai, Mrs Helen Noronha Mira Road, Mrs Bibiana Loboa Borivli, Romeo Lobo Borivli, Juliana DSouza Bhayander, Ida Pereira Bhayander, Felix DSouza Malvani and Henry DSouza Borivli played different roles of the drama. Music was by Benjamin Miranda. Sound effects were from Autotech. Songs were from Charles DCunha. Franky and Sunita DSouza also extended their voice in the songs. Makeup was from Sandeep and stage setting was from Gavli.

 

People enjoyed the hilarious roles of Cyrl Monis and Felix DSouza Malvani very much. All the artists did justice to their roles. The next show of the drama is on 27th March at Bhayander.
