Bantwal: SKSSF forms Human Chain to promote communal harmony on R-Day

Bantwal, 30 Jan 2016: Dakshina Kannada district Committee of SKSSF formed human chain with a slogan, committed for harmony to safeguard national interest, as part of Republic Day celebrations here on Tuesday January 26.
Dakshina Kannada district-in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai after inaugurating the programme said, ‘The formation of human chain for uniting the countrymen in national interest is successful in instilling patriotism in youth who are on waywardness.
Abdul Khader Al Khasimi Bambrana presided the programme. Shaikuna Abdul Jabbar Ustad Mittabail recited the verses from Holy Quran.
SKSSF district president Isaac Faizi administered oath to serve the nation. Hyder Darimi Kalladka, Anis Kousari and Kasim Darimi Wayanad also spoke on communal harmony.
Haji Mohammed Masood expressed happiness over the programme. KIC students sang the national anthem.

The human chain reception Committee chairman Siddiq Abdulla Bantwal welcomed the gathering. Jaleel Badriya proposed vote of thanks. Irfan Moulavi compered the programme.
Earlier, a colorful procession accompanied by folk artistes and scouts was held from Goodinabali to Shantiyangady, near here.
