Good work by the organisers, but I support view expressed by Valerian, Moodubelle. Let us do such piligrimage in honor of Saint and not for people to see and appreacite

Happy to see my friends in padayathra. It is becoming more popular year by year.

This looks like a trekking expedition rather than a holy piligrimage. Everyone needs name and fame even in the name of saint. Oh Man, come out of this show off stunt. God doesn t like your show off, he will reward only your humility and true worship

May St.Lawrence bless all those you took part in padayatra. But I didn t like this too much publicity and people taking this as a picnic event. You are on a holy mission and hence do not behave like party goers.

I see this drama for many years and could not understand the logic behind this so called padayathra. When this padayatra started, the intention was good. People wanted to visit the holy shrine by doing sacrifice and ask blessings of Saint. But sadly today this has become a big publicity stunt only for the name sake. Today people consider this as a time pass and like a trekking journey. Also the publicity in advance, during the padayatra by spreading pictures by whatsapp and after completion of padayatra is making me to think - what is the real purpose of this journey. People gossip, discuss politics and make fun of others when doing this padayatra. Can the Saint be happy with this. Hence written in bible Mathew 6:1 "Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
