Mangaluru: Negligence of civic worker; Household gets municipal water from 2 taps

Mangaluru, 15 Jan 2016: The tap connection to supply municipal water to the house hold of a certain Raju, living in VIII Cross, Kapikad, Bejai, here was bust and water is being wasted since 2 months. Raju had complained to the local corporator Rajnish about the wastage of water. Meanwhile, the civic plumber Jagdish had given the water supply from the nearest point in VII Cross Road and did not capped the existing bust pipe.

 

 

Its because of the blunder of Jagdish, the household of Raju gets water from both sources and water is being wasted from the bust pipe. Despite both corporator Rajnish and plumber Jagdish were informed a month ago, nothing has been done. The water woes are getting harder as the summer approaches, but none to curb the wastage.
