Mangaluru: Empowered Bunts community is aspiration: Malady Ajit Kumar Rai

Mangaluru, 30 Dec 2015: Bantara Yane Nadavara Matra Sangha aspires to make the community economically stronger and efforts are underway already in this regard, said Malady Ajit Kumar Rai, president of Bantara Yane Nadavara Matra Sangha.
Ajit Kumar was speaking during ninety-sixth annual general body meeting of Bantara Yane Nadavara Matra Sangha at A B Shetty centenary hall, Bunts Hostel, here on Tuesday December 29.
The Bhoomi puja will be held shortly at central office premises of Bantara Yane Nadavara Matra Sangha for building long-awaited Bunts Bhavan, added Ajit Kumar.
He further said that a commercial complex will be built along with Bunts Bhavan. The Matra Sangha has been helping the poor families among the community towards wedding expenses of their girls and support education of talented children.
Karunakar Shetty, Nivedita Shetty, Chetan Kumar Shetty, Krishna Prasad Rai, Kavu Hemanat Shetty, Jayaram Santa, Jayakar Shetty Indrali, Kenchanoor Somashekar Shetty, Sunil Kumar Shetty, Dayanand Rai, Divakar Rai and Muktanand Rai presented their reports of their respective taluks.
The general secretary presented annual report. The treasurer presented annual account. The auditor H R Shetty, Somashekar Shetty, Hemanat Shetty, Meghanat Shetty and Manmohan Shetty were present at the dais.
