Mumbai: Koota Mahajagattu Mumbai organizes annual get-together

Mumbai, 28 Dec 2015: The Brahmin community needs to strengthen unity to fight for their rights. Let us lead the community to prosperity by identifying talent among our children by higher education, said U N Ithal, president of Koota Mahajagattu Saligrama, Mumbai.
He was speaking during the annual get-together held at Gokul auditorium of BSKB Association, Sion (East) here on Sunday December 27.
BSKB Association president Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel was the chief guest of the occasion. Reliance Group higher officer B Narayan was the guest of honor.
The veterans of community Sitaratna Navada, B Sharada Rao and S Parameshwarayya were felicitated on the same occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Suresh said that Brahmin community has no future without Gokul in Mumbai. They would not get any state benefits. Therefore, the unity of Brahmin community will bring about prosperity, said Dr Suresh.
Hundreds of Brahmin brethrens attended the get-together and lauded ‘Guru NarasimhaVani’ quarterly bulletin of Koota Mahajagattu Saligrama Mumbai ® published at the leadership of P C N Rao and H K Karanta.
The secretary P C N Rao welcomed the gathering. The Purohit Subramanya Ithal recited the shlokas. The executive Committee secretary H K Karant introduced the dignitaries. The treasurer Deepak Karant, Ramesh M Rao and P C N Rao introduced the honored dignitaries. The vice president P V Ithal compered the programme. Nagaratna Holla compered the cultural programme. H K Karant proposed vote of thanks.
The children and members of Koota Mahajagattu Saligrama Mumbai presented variety cultural programmes on the occasion.
