Karkala: Live demo of Eco-friendly rural useful items held in Sooda

Karkala, 12 Dec 2015: Nisarga Eco Club in collaboration with Pratibha Jnana Vikas Kendra that is promoted by Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), organized a demonstration of making useful items with rural touch at Government High School, Sooda, near here on Thursday December 10.

 

 
The resource persons from Jnana Vikas Kendra presented demonstration of making brooms from tendu leaves, weaving tendu leaves, making flowers etc to the students of Government High School, Sooda, near here.
 
SKDRDP animator Rajani and Belman zonal in-charge Gopal were present.
 
The headmaster Ritesh Kumar Shetty advised the students to learn how to make eco-friendly useful items that are based on hand skills.
