Bantwal: Miscreants stab a rowdy-sheeter at Maripalla, in broad daylight

Bantwal, 09 Dec 2015: Some miscreants knifed a person at Maripalla, near Farangipet, near here on Mangaluru – Bengaluru NH 75 on Wednesday December 9.

 

Thirty-eight-year-old Hanif yane Madha Hanif, a resident of Maripalla, near here is the victim. He was admitted in the hospital in critical condition.

 

 

The locals are in shock as the knifing has taken place in a broad daylight. The security has been beefed up at the location.

 

Hanif was standing in front of a shop in Maripalla, when the miscreants arrived in a car and motorcycle. The group fled from the scene after the fatal assault on Hanif. The locals have taken the fatally wounded Hanif to hospital in Mangaluru.

 

Hanif was involved in several cases including a murder case and was listed in the goons list at the police records. Bantwal rural police arrived at the spot and resorted to mild caning as the mob gathered around.

 

Bantwal circle inspector Belliappa, sub-inspector Rakshit Gowda and ASP Vincent Shantakumar are camping at the spot.
