Abu Dhabi: India Fest Season 6, 3-day mega cultural extravaganza Concludes

Abu Dhabi, 07 Dec 2015: In commemoration of 44th UAE National Day, India Social & Cultural Centre (ISC), the largest socio-cultural organization of Indian community here hosted the sixth season of its signature Event, UAE Exchange, Xpress Money India Fest Season 6 at ISC here from December 3 to December 5.

 

The three-day cultural extravaganza that attracted hundreds of people at the India Fest that was held at ISC here concluded on December 5, with loads of special attractions from eminent artistes, musical bands and dance performances.

 

 

Indian Ambassador to UAE T P Seetharam, Dr Omar Shahi from the office of Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ISC vice chairman and vice chairman/CEO of NMC Healthcare B R Shetty, UAE Exchange president Y Sudhir Shetty, Gemini Building Materials LLC managing director Ganesh Babu and Al Masaood Automobiles general manager Humayun Alam were present during the inaugural function on December 3.
 
Musical performance by Indian musician and anchors Roi and Diji, Aparna Indian music group A band, various attractive dances,  performances including Kathak, cinematic and other Indian/ Arabic dance forms by leading artistes and choreographers across UAE added flavor to the celebrations.
 
Live Musical Band by Wooden Shield, the famous band from India, enthralled the audiences during 3-day event.

Live musical concert by famous South Indian playback singer Madhu Balakrishnan partnering with famous bollywood playback singer Chitra Iyer presented along with playback singer Sumi Aravind and group.

 
All the three-day had loads of entertainment programmes which mesmerized the audience that included: Russian dancers with Russian folk dances, performance, art forms representing various states of India including Lazeem by Maharashra Mandal, and folk dance by Gujrathi Samaj etc.

Guru Asha Nair’s disciples gave power-packed mixed musical mind blowing dance performance which got huge applause by audience.

 
Anchor Roi, Diji and Aparana were appreciated by ISC managing committee for their wonder full co-ordination for 3 of India Fest Season 6.

 
Khatak Guru Kundan disciples gave a traditional touch for stage by their soft musical dance performance got huge applause.

 
Grand closing ceremony of ISC India Fest Season 6 concluded with multitude of raffles and prizes galore including Grand Prize – Nissan car.

 
In addition, there were scores of stalls show casing, arts, textiles, jewelry, flower shops, business entities and exchanges centers. All these stalls were visited by large number of people and also there were food outlets, restaurants that served authentic Indian delicacies enjoyed by all the visitors to the grand India Fest – 2015 at ISC.
