St Francis Xavier School, Bejai to host centenary celebrations on Dec 2

 

Mangaluru, 30 Nov 2015: St Francis Xavier Higher Primary School, Bejai is gearing up for the centenary celebrations to be held on December 2.

 

 

The celebrations will begin with a thanksgiving mass at 9 am for which Fr Alwyn D’Cunha will be the main celebrant.

 

A grand celebration has been planned at 5.30 pm and will be presided over Bishop of Mangaluru Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza. Dr Nodu Subraya Bhat, MLA JR Lobo, MLC Ivan D’Souza, MLC, Mayor Jacintha Alfred and Fr Jerald D’Souza will take part as chief guests.

 

Former Correspondents Fr Godfrey Saldanha and Fr Victor Machado, retired headmistresses Lilly Pinto, Nelly Tauro, Catherine D’Souza, Vivian Lasrado, Lidwin D’Almeida, Concepta Noronha and Precilla Rodrigues will also be felicitated during the celebrations.
